Annet Nansubuga
My name is Annet Nansubuga and am a proud member of Life in Africa Foundation. I am the fourth born in a family of seven. I have had what I consider to be enough education to be able to cxommunicate effectively in the English language. Before I joined Life in Africa, I was a loner and into myself, not interacting with people and my income was very small.
Since I joined Life in Africa, my life has changed tremendously. I started otu as a volunteer and slowly made new friends and my interaction skills begun to improve. I have learned alot of new things from being a member of Life in Africa like, making bracelets from which i recieve a significant income, budgeting my time and money, made lots of friends and a little accounting to help me manage my finances and life much better than I was doing it before Life in Africa happened to me favorably. The chips have fallen in the right places for me at Life in Africa.
Life in Africa has played a major role in my life. It has given me the opportunity to grow personally, learn to live and work with people because, previously, Iwas an introvert, very into my little world. Life in Africa (LiA) community has provided a very enabling environment to continually develop my other talents and get contacts that I believe can help become a better person so as to leave the world a better place than I found it.
As my next step while at Life in Africa, am registering for Adult education courses at LiA to get a level higher in my education,l especailly my English. I also plan to enroll for a computer course, learn lots of hand crafts like basket weaving, painting and first aid training. Am so glad I joined Life in Africa community. Bigger and greate rthings are going to happen at LiA.
