Okidi Bosco

Okidi Bosco are my names and a member of Life in Africa since January 2006. Am an Acholi by tribe and now am not living in my home District Gulu due to the rebel activities that has displaced many people. Currently am staying in a displaced area Kampala commonly knownas Acholi quarters and my living was based on stone quarrey. I learnt about Life in Africa on the time when Life in Africa director visited us in our quarter with helps she has been giving us inspired me to move near and be a member.

Before I joined life in Africa, life in the displaced quarter was very hard and I could not manage to get what is neccesary for life like: food, medical and school fees for my children as there was no proper income. But since I joined, my life has changed and am now earning a living because of the bracelets that am making and also involvement in the community activities and programs like talent discovery, community guaranteed lending, internet4change trainings and many more.

Life in Africa as an organisation has played many roles similar to donating things like play cloths to IDP camps, computers to charity4peace, training programs in all styles, jobs, and unity among the members. my next step is to tell others about the good things of life in Africa and encaurage them to join. I wish good cooperation among us in this community and a very prosperious plan for the people of this community.
