Christine Adibo

I am a responsibly married woman with a total of about (5) in my family. I came to Kampala in 1997 in one of the worst moment in my life experiencing more than 50 people killed in one instance day. This immediately prompted my abrupt migration to Kampala which led to my settlement in Acholi Quarters.

While in Kampala things have not been so fine as there was no source of income to sustain my family. I then started selling G.nut paste around the locality of Acholi Quarter. When G.nut paste was not doing enough towards my well being due to rise in cost of living, I shifted to rock quarrying and eventually acquired my own pit.

By God’s grace, I was introduced to life in Africa Organization which is like … heaven to me. The difficulties which I experienced in feeding, renting, paying school fees are reduced which made life very fair and meaningful to me.

My main objective is to generate income that I may get enough to construct a permanent family house in the village if situation normalize in Northern Uganda.
