My life in Africa

My name is Omwony Balex, I came to Kampala in 2004 0ct0ber due to one abnormal incident where, my elder brother was killed and our houses and properties burnt down! As a result I had to run away from Northern Uganda to Kampala for the safety of my life. Things have not been so favorable in Kampala, which pushed me to take up a security job that bears nothing but risk of life! Not forgetting the mega income.

By God’s grace I came across life in Africa, which I joined as a gardener, having find that the person who was doing the garden work was promoted and that became a great opportunity for me. Along side garden work I have been also involved in the bracelet project as a repairer to the extend that am now a bracelet maker. It is not only bracelet and compound work but also doubling as an inventory quality control agent, Internet 4 change trainee and a helper in as far as administration work is concerned.

Since I joined life in Africa it has always been a dramatic change in my life and a lot unexpected positive move. The hardships I had is soon no more and it is important to say that my parents' standard of living is improving because of assistance I do to them all from Life in Africa.
